Today is the day! My family is getting into town today! They left at 5:20 this morning Texas time. I was scheduled to meet Kristin my trainer at the Louisville office at 10 AM. At training I practiced writing out exactly what I would monitor for various procedures and setting up the dummy and my equipment. Kristin oversaw my work, and laid the groundwork for various scenarios so I could practice troubleshooting.

We finished our work around 4 PM and I headed to my hotel to work on some things until my family got here. They got stuck in traffic on I-25 unfortunately so they didn't get to the hotel until 7 PM (8 PM their time so they were very hungry!). We decided to go out to dinner to a fancy mexican restaurant on the same street as our hotel called Hacienda Colorado. We waited for over 30 minutes on a RAINY, STORMY Tuesday night just for a table! The place was packed so we assumed it had to be good! We all got burritos except for my dad who got fish tacos. I got a barbacoa burrito and mom and Megan got bean and beef burritos. Our server, turns out was both a Cowboys and Longhorns fan!

Back at the hotel we were all pretty exhausted, so Megan and I watched some TV online. Megan stayed with me in my bed and Nelson slept on the pull out sofa. Marcus put the sofa pillows on the ground and made a makeshift bed. My parents have their own hotel bed room :)
